Making Room in Your Heart with Wild Mustangs: Equine Therapy - [$]

Join Erin Cain of Wild Grace, a Path Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor & Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, for this intimate, untethered group equine therapy workshop. After arriving via shuttle from Mountain Village to her ranch Down Valley in Placerville, Colorado, we will work individually with the horses in a group setting.

The presence of the horse creates a non-judgmental space where participants can express themselves freely and learn valuable life skills. See yourself clearly and without judgment through the eyes of your partnering horse. They don’t care what you’re wearing, what you do for work, what you drive, where you live. They just see You, Remember You.

The human heart produces a magnetic field detectable 3 feet around the body in all directions. A horse’s electromagnetic field measures 5 times larger! Being in their heart space can influence our heart rhythm in a positive, calming, and joyful way. A great way to open your heart and begin the weekend!

Please purchase a $195 Thursday Equine Therapy Ticket here to add this offering to your schedule.

Learning to Soar: Discovering the Language of Aerial Yoga - [$]

Every yoga practice has a beginning. Aerial Yoga is no exception. Whether new to this style of yoga or a wisened practitioner, this session will focus on the language of aerial yoga through a beginner's “mind”.

Soaring for the very first time, at this moment, we will root ourselves into aerial yoga’s language within the field of longevity.

Grounded in the traditions of Hatha Yoga, we will first explore the nuances of aerial yoga postures, where the hammock becomes a partner in assisting body and breath movement, in forward folds, arm balances, twists, standing balances, inversions, and reclined positions.

Once discovered, known as the way of the aerial hammock, the way will become the roots for finding depth in our stretches, elongation in our muscles, opening in our hearts, decompression in our spines, and rejuvenation in our Souls. Once discovered, we will find clues to the way this practice assists us at any age in supporting our longevity and what that might mean in individual and collective development. No experience is necessary.

To add this to your schedule, please purchase a $30 SUP or Aerial Yoga Add-On ticket here.

Dreaming Into an Ecological World: Invigorate Your Life in the Aerial Yoga Hammock - [$]

Tapping into the source of your inner “fire” we will move together with the aerial hammock as our assistant, to cultivate a hOMe world where all life matters. Begin “Close In” poet, David Whyte suggests. We begin this practice by activating our core with postures and expressions that invite a particular way of belonging to/in/within our bodies. Dynamic movement will be the cornerstone of this practice.

From the vision of eco-philosopher David Abram, who re-introduces us to the “more-than-human” world, and deep-time scholar, Joanna Macy, who invites us to see that every action/movement matters, I invite you to join me in extending your heart fire towards who you are becoming and what you stand for. Bridging a series of aerial postures together, discover how your belonging contributes to dreaming of a more ecological world.

This practice intentionally recognizes the vitality you hold within, as a key component, to a dream I have in a current and future thriving, generative hOMe world. No aerial yoga experience is necessary.

To add this to your schedule, please purchase a $30 SUP or Aerial Yoga Add-On ticket here.

Hammock Forest Bathing - [$]

The Japanese philosophy of “shinrin-yoku (森林浴)”- ‘Forest Bathing’™ is a delicious practice that rejuvenates the body, soul, and spirit. Our animal bodies have always known the significance of nature connection as an essential condition for life while our Western minds continue to question where, how, and/or why accessing our wild self matters. Drawing upon the energy of Telluride's native trees, mountains, and flowing water, we will immerse ourselves into a more yin aerial yoga practice, discovering ways to bring our souls back into equilibrium. Our wild selves will discover how to find this soothing "forest" energy so we may bring it into our home places. This yummy practice benefits anyone with injuries, high levels of stress, ones needing to be in beauty, or anyone needing a softer movement. No aerial yoga experience is necessary.

Your Brain on Nature: An Inverted Aerial Yoga Practice - [$]

Turn the brain upside down. Feel the benefits of delivering more oxygen and nutrients to your brain and giving your pumping heart a break by practicing inverted postures with the aerial yoga hammock.

Inversions become accessible in this practice as the aerial yoga hammock safely suspends your body. Defying the confines of gravity, arm balances, forward folds, and lotus pose take on new meaning.

The possibility of holding inversions longer, anchoring in alignment, and exploring the ways air opens the door to previously unattainable postures is what makes this practice playful and fascinating.

Practice your yoga in the air to move freely, release fear, and float into a deeper understanding of your well-being as the blood reverses itself. Improve circulation, traction the spine, detoxify and increase immunity, and shift your energy with this practice. See the world from a shifted perspective and feel held in its infinite potential. No aerial yoga experience is necessary.
